Top Ten Programming Languages 2008

JavaScript is a firm favourite in the office, to some the language is a mystery but to us we just enjoy coding in it, it is fun for us. With the Web 2.0 hype starting to dampen, we can back to doing some of the more interesting uses of JavaScript.

In 2008 we began to explore some of the security advantages that JavaScript could bring to the web, and no doubt 2009 will see more of the same but at an advanced and highly practical level.

JavaScript never fails to inspire some truly off the wall and innovative uses, and with XHTTP requests, distributed computing on the browser and over HTTP becomes more viable.
